How do I send a follow-up email with an offer?
What we always recommend is to send the lead to a Thank You Page after submitting the form which lets them know that the offer they are requesting is being sent to their email address. That will ensure that your leads are submitting valid email addresses instead of junk addresses. It also gives you the opportunity to tell them to add your sending address to their address book to ensure they receive your emails (and ensures they get all other marketing emails from you in the future). It’s a win win for both you and the lead!

To do this, you’ll upload the asset into LeadOutcome. If you’re unsure of how to do that, you can follow this video. Pay close attention around the 2:10min mark, as you’ll need to grab the URL of the asset you just uploaded to use in your email.

Once uploaded, you’ll want to create your email. To do that, you’ll follow these videos:

You’ll include your document in the email as a link, as sending as an attachment is a sure way to get the email filtered out by a spam filter. Including the document as a link instead gets around this problem and ensures deliverability to your lead.

Once your document is uploaded and your email created, you’ll go to your optin form. Either create a new one or edit an existing one. When you get to the Optional Behaviors section, you’ll find your 1-Click email in the dropdown for ‘Send 1-Click Email.’ Select this email and any other optional behaviors (if applicable).

Save your form and paste the code wherever it should live.
