What does filter by list mean in Manage Leads?
The 'filter by list' function applies to saved searches. When you create and save an advanced search, this creates a list. You can then use this list to filter your contacts and assign them to campaigns, assign categories and tags, and complete more actions.

Once you've created at least one saved search, you can then use the 'filter by list' function to filter your leads. To learn more about using advanced search and creating lists, check out this article.
