You won’t always need to import an entire list of leads; perhaps you just need to add a new lead after receiving a business card. Adding a single lead is incredibly simple.

You can quickly add a single lead to your system after receiving a business card rather than using the import tool.
  • Get there by going to Leads > Manage leads > Add new lead OR Leads > Add new leads > Add single lead
  • Click ‘Add new lead’ and enter in the information that you need/want to appear in the lead record.
  • Click to add/remove custom field groups. This displays a list of all available custom field groups you have created.
  • Select multiple groups you want to appear for that lead and view them appearing in background. Click continue once you’ve selected all fields you want.
  • Open groups and continue entering information in those custom field groups.
  • Agree to the terms and save your new lead.
  • This lead then appears at the top of Manage Leads, as the default sort is based on most recent lead activity.
  • Click the ID number and view the lead data.
  • Click to open your custom fields and view the custom data you’ve entered.
